WWpropsww2.cab This message is what I get when trying to load Office. To confirm the.cab file is good to go, otherwise, re-download Office.
Finally understood your simple solution. The installer is asking for the Locationparent folder for the Folder ' ProPlus.WW' and NOT for the locationparentfolder to the file ' propsww2.cab'Thanks TheSLXYESSSS! It worked.Just use (as an example).C:YourInstallFolderOffice 2013 Professional Plus x64(copy and paste path from Windows Explorer to the text box on the error dialog). Also, if ProPsWW2.cab is actually missing (which, in my case was missing), you will have to get it from the install CD (no, the installation does not copy this file intact; it is a cabinet file and all files are extracted from it during installation).April-2016.
I had the same issue, actually i've had it every time i restore a paticularpc of mine from the 'recovery' partition. In my case it has something to dowith a trial version of office being pre-installed. Anyway.to get aroundthis i simply go to another pc that i have office 2007 installed on, and do asearch for proplswww.cab, making sure to include searching hidden/systemfiles. It's usually located in the cache directories from the install.
Copythe cab file to a usb drive, then insert on the other machine having problemsand point to it.hope this helps.::sbindl01::karapinha20.07.09 16:37.
